Apex Flex Partial Dentures

ROE has partnered with SprintRay to offer Apex Flex™, a biocompatible, FDA Class II 510(k)-cleared resin engineered specifically for 3D printing flexible partial denture bases.

Using an advanced digital workflow, the denture base and teeth are fabricated together directly from your digital file, delivering exceptional accuracy, consistency, and fit while reducing the variability of traditional thermoplastic processing.

With high flexural strength over 26.5 MPa, over 50% elongation at break, and exceptional fracture resistance, Apex Flex offers the flexibility patients appreciate while resisting the breakage common with conventional acrylic partials.

The completely metal-free design features tissue-colored flexible clasps instead of visible cast metal, creating a more natural-looking restoration for patients seeking superior esthetics.

Ideal for tooth-supported partial dentures, Apex Flex delivers lightweight, comfortable restorations with a precise digital fit. Our Certified Dental Technicians are available to assist with complex case planning and clasp design.

Clinical Benefits Apex Flex Partial Dentures

    • Metal-Free Esthetics – Tissue-colored flexible clasps eliminate visible metal, while natural translucency allows for a accurate gingiva blend
    • Exceptional Durability – Designed to resist cracks and fractures that often damage traditional acrylic partials
    • Support Without Rigidity — A ≥700 MPa flexural modulus maintains structural support while adapting to functional movement, reducing the pressure points characteristic of rigid acrylic frameworks
    • Printed Base and Teeth Together — Base and teeth are printed in a single job and chemically bonded rather than mechanically retained
    • Digital File Storage – Every case is designed from a digital scan and archived, making future remakes, replacements, or modifications faster and more predictable
    • Biocompatible Material – FDA Class II 510(k)-cleared and completely metal-free, Apex Flex is an excellent option for patients with sensitivities to common dental metals or acrylic monomers
    • Conservative Treatment – Flexible retention often minimizes the need for extensive tooth preparation, helping preserve more of the patient's natural dentition
