What is an Apex Flex partial denture?

ROE has partnered with SprintRay to offer Apex Flex, a biocompatible, FDA Class II 510(k)-cleared resin engineered specifically for 3D printing flexible partial denture bases. An Apex Flex partial denture is a completely metal-free removable partial in which both the denture base and the denture teeth are additively manufactured from a digital file, then joined and cured as a single unit.

The defining clinical feature is the tissue-colored flexible clasp. Instead of visible cast metal retainers, retention comes from flexible resin clasp arms that blend with the surrounding gingiva. The material's natural translucency supports an accurate gingival blend, which makes Apex Flex a strong option for patients who want an esthetic alternative to a cast framework.
