GuidedSMILE Digital
Digital Full-Arch Workflow - Where Speed and Accuracy are Fully Integrated
Guided Oral Surgery + Fully Integrated Fiducial System + Pre-Scheduled 1-Hr Design
GuidedSMILE Digital is a revolutionary, three-part system designed to bring precision, efficiency, and reliability to full-arch implant surgery and prosthesis delivery.
By combining advanced surgical guide technology with a streamlined digital workflow, GuidedSMILE Digital enables clinicians to deliver immediate, passive, and durable prostheses with greater confidence and accuracy.
This process is ideal for doctors who value control, efficiency, and in-house 3D printing solutions—whether they are DIY practitioners or large practices utilizing photogrammetry or Grammetry (IOS record capture).
The Three-Part Solution
GuidedSMILE Digital integrates three essential parts that work synergistically:
- GuidedSMILE CombiGuide
- Scanguide
- One-Hr Design Services

1. GuidedSMILE CombiGuide

GuidedSMILE CombiGuide part of the CHROME GuidedSMILE family, is a full-arch surgical and prosthetic system designed to combine guided bone reduction with precise implant placement in one streamlined process.
It consists of multiple stacking components — including a pin guide, fixation base, bone reduction (osteotomy) guide, and a carrier guide — which together help the surgeon manage vertical space, control implant angulation, and ensure the prosthetic outcome is carefully maintained.
One of the key benefits is its ability to firmly attach to bone after tissue reflection, eliminating “guesswork” when reducing bone to the planned level, and assuring that the subsequent implants and prosthetics fit as intended.
CombiGuide Surgical Benefits:
- Single Integrated Placement - Single stackable guide system specifically pre-designed with precision to serve both surgical and advanced scanning protocols.
- Controlled Bone Reduction - Precise bone-leveling completed rapidly through pre-calculated reduction levels via the Fixation Base, eliminating guesswork and reducing surgical time.
- Pre-Planned Implant Precision - All drilling angles and depths exist in exact software coordinates before surgery, helping ensure first-attempt accuracy.
- Accelerated Protocol Step Transition - Continuous surgery-to-scanning progression without component removal or repositioning interruptions.
- Reduced Procedural Complexity - Unified system design minimizes surgical protocol steps, potential deviations, and timing inefficiencies.
2. Scanguide - Fully Integrated Fiducial System

The Scanguide is a fully integrated fiducial system designed to work seamlessly alongside the CombiGuide. It works seamlessly with all photogrammetry and grammetry systems.
Unlike traditional fiducial methods, which often rely on randomly placed TADs and practitioner discretion, the Scanguide enables a three-dimensional, multi-geometric fiducial capture process.
Its integration eliminates uncertainty and overcomes challenges associated with IOS scanning in the presence of blood and tissue.
This ensures superior accuracy in intraoral scans and record capture—removing doubt and boosting efficiency.
Scanguide Benefits:
- Full-Integrated Pre-Created Fiducial System - Complex pre-surgery design work and scanning optimization result in a specially created Scanguide.
- Single Capture Session - One post-operative scan replaces multiple complex scanning appointments through pre-planned digital and fabrication coordination.
- Universal Scanner Compatibility - Protocol works effectively with all IOS and photogrammetry scanners through a flexible digital architecture.
- Integrated Digital Precision - Works seamlessly with all photogrammetry and Grammetry systems.
- Eliminates Scanning Complexity - Removes the need for difficult ramus-to-contralateral arch scanning patterns, the negative impact of bloody field scanning, and accommodates sedated patients without requiring cooperation or multiple bite registrations
3. One-Hour Design Services

Once the digital records and IOS scans are captured using the CombiGuide and ScanGuide, they are sent to ROE’s skilled design team.
Within one hour, the team creates a prosthesis that precisely matches the surgical plan and implant placement.
The STL file is then delivered back to the clinician, who prints, cures, and polishes the prosthesis in-house.
This results in a highly accurate, passive, and strong immediate prosthesis—streamlining the entire workflow and improving patient outcomes.
Scanguide Benefits:
- Eliminates Traditional Alignment Procedures - Pre-established digital coordinates, combined with specific pre-design guide elements, remove time-consuming manual registration steps.
- Single-Scan Processing - Unified capture of scan bodies, guide geometries, and fiducial streamlines data interpretation and reduces processing time.
- Reduced Turnaround Times - Streamlined scanning and pre-planning integration significantly shorten laboratory processing periods.
- Enhanced Design Accuracy - Pre-positioned elements eliminate cumulative tolerance errors from multiple component registrations.
- Streamlined Quality Management - Integrated pre- and post-surgery design software reduces file complexity and accelerates quality control through pre-verified digital relationships.
