Can I request a multi-shade crown?

Yes, ROE can create crowns with multiple shades to achieve a more natural, lifelike appearance. Multi-shade crowns allow for different colors in different areas of the restoration—for example, a lighter shade at the incisal edge transitioning to a warmer shade at the gingival third.

To request a multi-shade crown, call our laboratory with your specifications or include detailed notes on your lab slip. For example, you might specify, "2L 1.5 for the incisal third and 2L 2.5 for the gingival third."

If you submit your scan before determining the exact shade specifications, you can call afterward to provide the multi-shade details. Our technical team can also offer guidance on shade combinations that will create the most natural result if you would like recommendations.
