What are the CombiGuide specifications, and how does it compare to ROE's other surgical guides?

The CombiGuide is a full-arch, all-metal guide focused specifically on bone reduction and implant placement. It supports any number of implant sites and is compatible with all guided surgical kits. Typical lab time is 5 days planning plus 5 days production.

The system is most often produced in metal (metal osteotomy guide and metal fixation base). For teaching or specific case needs, a plastic version can be ordered. When plastic is used, ROE produces it thicker, around 4.5 to 5 mm, so the guide stays robust in the mouth.

The table below compares CombiGuide to ROE's other surgical guide offerings. All offerings are compatible with all guided kits.

Guide Relative Cost Lab Time Sites Best Application
Tooth Supported $$ 3 days planning, 4 days production 1 to 6 Printed surgical resin, with Ti sleeves or sleeveless
Tissue Supported $$ 4 days planning, 4 days production Any number Edentulous cases where the guide is based on a dual-scan
Bone Supported $$$ 4 days planning, 5 days production Any number Edentulous cases where a dual-scan is not an option; optional open channel for bone leveling
CombiGuide $$$ 5 days planning, 5 days production Any number Full-arch all-metal guide, limited to bone reduction and implant placement
CHROME GuidedSMILE $$$$ 5 days planning, 10 days production Any number Fully guided All-on-X surgery and restoration

Key distinction: CombiGuide is purpose-built for guided bone reduction and implant placement. If you also need a fully guided provisional and a complete restorative workflow in a single appliance, the CHROME GuidedSMILE system may be the better fit.
