Is the TLZ-IB compatible with all implant systems, and how is it protected and made more passive?

Yes. The TLZ-IB works seamlessly with all major implant systems and incorporates ROE's precision milling technology and prototype try-in process for predictable results.

Passive fit with Passivity Plus. ROE's full-arch finals, including the TLZ-IB, are designed to work with Passivity Plus technology, which aims to increase passivity between the prosthesis and the implants to reduce stress-related failures such as screw loosening, prosthesis fracture, and marginal bone loss. Passivity Plus is built around the NikolasBase, a self-adjusting titanium base for use with multi-unit abutments (MUAs) that features a pivotable, self-adjusting cap to compensate for minor misfits during seating. Note that Passivity Plus is intended to enhance passivity, not to correct major errors, and should not be used when scan quality is poor or the prosthesis fit is grossly off. Learn more on the Passivity Plus technology page.

Protecting the investment. To protect the full-arch device, ROE includes a miniComfort guard, a lower appliance the patient wears at night or during the day. It is flexible and soft, with two discluding elements that the canines contact, reminding the patient to open and stop clenching. It functions as a deprogramming device that helps protect the restoration. More detail is on the miniComfort page.
