How durable are titanium partials, and how long do they last?

With proper care, titanium partials have an excellent lifespan, driven by the controlled crystal structure created during SLM. The clearest durability measure is retention over time: after about 6,000 insertion/removal cycles (roughly 3.5 years of typical use), traditional frameworks lose up to about 75% of their retention, while titanium frameworks lose only about 9% (retaining ~91%).

Titanium clasps perform as well as or better than chrome-cobalt. Flexibility, utility, and retention testing show titanium performing slightly better, and its excellent ductility lets clinicians make minor clasp adjustments with confidence.

Warranty — verify before publishing: ROE's catalog spec table lists a 1-year warranty for the SLM Titanium Partial, while other product materials reference a 5-year warranty against framework fracture. Confirm the current terms before stating a figure in the knowledge base.
