Who supplies the abutments, attachments, and housings, and how are the heights chosen?

ROE coordinates the attachment components so the parts match the case:

  • Attachment / tissue height: when the case is at the implant level, ROE chooses the attachment (tissue) height based on the patient's tissue, so the attachments sit at the correct height relative to the gums.
  • Abutments: ROE will either send the abutments or tell you which ones to order.
  • Housings / pickup copings: when the abutments are already seated, ROE can send the housings or pickup copings, or you can order them from one of your supply reps.

This coordination is part of why many doctors prefer to route the case through the lab rather than sourcing and selecting parts on their own.
