Which scanners and capture systems is GuidedSMILE Digital compatible with?

GuidedSMILE Digital was built for universal scanner compatibility. Its flexible digital architecture works effectively with all intraoral scanners (IOS) and photogrammetry scanners, and it integrates seamlessly with both photogrammetry and Grammetry (IOS-based record capture) systems.

Supported capture methods and devices:

Capture Method How It Works With GuidedSMILE Digital
Intraoral scanner (IOS) A single IOS pass captures scan bodies and the Scanguide
Photogrammetry Photogrammetry flags protrude through the Scanguide for capture
Grammetry IOS record capture integrates with the same Scanguide protocol
Micron mapper devices ROE can recognize micron-mapper scan body shapes via its component library
ArchBridge scan body A patent-pending full-arch scan body that bridges all implants

A key advantage is ROE's extensive library of healing collars and scan bodies used across the U.S. market, which allows the design team to recognize the shapes you capture and convert them into accurate files.

The ArchBridge is especially well suited to multi-implant cases because it bridges all of the implants with separate, non-repeating shapes, so the intraoral scanner does not get confused by identical, repeating geometries. You can learn more on the Grammetry ArchBridge and Dental Photogrammetry pages. For help linking your scanner to ROE, see Connecting IOS Scanners.
