Which patients and case types are good candidates for an IMPACT Denture?

The IMPACT Denture is designed for a broad range of full denture scenarios. ROE positions it as an optimal solution for both immediate dentures and long-term economy cases.

Applications:

  • Single and double arch dentures
  • Duplicate and immediate dentures
  • Implant conversions
  • Reline either chairside or in-lab

Common patient scenarios and how they map to the workflow:

Patient scenario Approach
Edentulous, no current denture Capture records and proceed through the two-appointment digital workflow
Has an existing or reference denture Records can be captured with the denture seated, and the existing prosthesis can guide the new design
Teeth planned for extraction Immediate denture workflow, with records taken before extraction and the denture seated after teeth are removed
Ill-fitting immediately loaded denture Move the patient into a permanent prosthetic using the digital workflow

Clinical considerations:

  • For immediate cases, if the denture does not seat after extractions, options include a post-healing reline or making a new denture using the reference-denture protocol.
  • The digital design controls fit closely. ROE notes that digital dentures fit so well that post dams are no longer used.
  • Accurate bite registration and well-defined borders captured chairside reduce the likelihood of needing a reset, as reflected in clinician feedback.

If you are unsure whether a specific case is a good fit, ROE assigns each client a dedicated technical support team that can advise on case planning before you send records.
