What records does ROE need to fabricate an IPS e.max Monolithic restoration?
Submit the following records with each IPS e.max Monolithic case:
- Traditional or digital impressions
- An impression of the prepared teeth
- Opposing model and bite registration
- Stump shade
- Final shade
Stump shade matters: because lithium disilicate is translucent, the underlying preparation color can influence the final result. Any discrepancy between the stump shade and the desired crown shade can cause inaccurate shade matching, so capturing an accurate stump shade (along with shade-tab photographs) is important for a predictable outcome.
ROE accepts both conventional PVS impressions and digital scans from all major intraoral scanner systems and offers model-free fabrication.
