Recommended additions for esthetic cases
- Preoperative and postoperative photographs, including full smile, retracted, and close-up views.
- Shade tab photographs taken with the tab adjacent to the tooth, in natural or color-corrected light.
- Notes on patient expectations, including desired value, incisal characterization, and any reference images.
- A note flagging fluorosis, tetracycline staining, or dark substrates so the technician can select the right shading approach from the start.
