What records does ROE need, and how do I submit a case?

ROE accepts both digital and analog records for the SLM Cobalt Chrome Partial, meeting practices wherever they are in their technology journey.

Required records:

Record Detail
Impression PVS or IOS impression
Bite Bite registration
Opposing Opposing arch
Photographs Full-face full-smile, full-face exaggerated smile, optional full-face profile (taken with patient standing)

If the patient has an existing partial denture, take the impressions and bite with the partial seated.

Submitting digital records:

  1. Complete your Rx and upload files at www.roedentallab.com/upload.
  2. If using an intraoral scanner, you can submit scans directly through the IOS portal by searching for "ROE Dental Lab" in your scanner's portal, or export your .STL files and upload them to the ROE portal.
  3. The exact submission protocol varies by scanner manufacturer. ROE accepts IOS files from all major brands.

Account setup notes:

  • For a first-time account, visit www.roedentallab.com/account and select "Create a New Account."
  • If you have worked with ROE before, contact customer service for your login credentials rather than creating a duplicate account.
  • ROE recommends the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox and advises against Internet Explorer.
