What records do I need to submit for a zRc Zirconia case, and what is the turnaround time?

Required records:

  • Impression of the prepared tooth/teeth — traditional (PVS) or digital (IOS)
  • Opposing arch impression
  • Bite registration
  • Shade

Estimated patient visits: 2 Lab fabrication time: 5 days-in-lab (does not include shipping). Plan the patient's return with ROE's case delivery calculator.

Both conventional and digital pathways are supported. ROE is digital so your practice doesn't have to be — you can keep familiar PVS workflows and still get the benefit of the lab's digital production.

Relevant workflow references in the Crown & Bridge guide:

Workflow What it covers Guide page
Crown Fabricated by Lab Two-appointment lab crown sequence 34
Traditional Impressions for Crowns 2-cord retraction + light/heavy-body PVS technique 38
Digital Impressions for Crowns IOS scan protocol for arches and prep margin 41

Bite-registration tip: Use just a single rope of bite material on the occlusal surfaces and have the patient bite into it — too much material prevents you from verifying correct occlusion. If you're unsure a bite is mounted correctly, ask ROE to mount and verify it before fabrication proceeds.

📺 Submission how-tos (account creation, submitting a case, IOS portal upload) are covered in the "Sending Records to ROE" section and its linked videos; digital cases upload at roedentallab.com/upload.
