What records do I need to submit, and how do I send them to ROE?
To fabricate an accurate Snap-On Smile, ROE requires the following records:
| Record | Required? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PVS or IOS impression | Required | A full-arch impression of the arch receiving the appliance. Digital (IOS) or conventional (PVS) are both accepted |
| Bite | Required | Bite registration to establish proper occlusal relationship |
| Opposing | Required | Impression or scan of the opposing arch |
| Patient photographs | Optional | Helpful for shade verification and esthetic matching |
Submitting digital records: ROE accepts IOS files from all major scanner brands. You can submit scans directly through your scanner's portal by searching for ROE Dental Lab, or you can export your .STL files and upload them through the ROE online portal. The exact direct-submission protocol varies by scanner manufacturer.
Submitting physical records: Ship your PVS impressions, bite, and opposing records to ROE. When sending physical models, download and print a copy of your Rx to include with the case.
For complete submission instructions, including account creation and free shipping supplies, see ROE's Instructions, Rx's and Forms page. For hands-on assistance, ROE's technical support team can be reached at (216) 663-2233 or info@roedentallab.com.
