What is TLZ-IB Zirconia, and what is the difference between the monolithic and layered versions?

TLZ-IB Zirconia is ROE's full-arch zirconia implant-supported bridge, a fixed solution for comprehensive oral rehabilitation. The "IB" stands for implant bridge. It is offered in two fabrication options so you can match the restoration to each patient's clinical and aesthetic needs.

TLZ-IB Monolithic is a single-material restoration that eliminates the risk of delamination while delivering exceptional strength and natural esthetics through advanced translucent liquid ceramics. It is particularly beneficial for maxillary restorations where aesthetic demands are paramount.

TLZ-IB Layered combines a zirconia framework with meticulously applied ceramic layers, allowing for enhanced characterization and customized aesthetic outcomes while maintaining the inherent strength and biocompatibility of the zirconia core.

Monolithic vs. layered at a glance:

Factor Monolithic Layered
Construction Single material throughout Zirconia core with ceramic layering
Delamination risk Eliminated Present at layered interface
Esthetic ceiling High, via translucent liquid ceramics Highest, via strategic layering and incisal translucency
Best suited to Maxillary and strength-driven cases Esthetic-zone cases needing maximum character
Chairside adjustability Streamlined adjustment and repair Refinement and masking of implant angulation

Both versions are built on full zirconia, finished with MiYO liquid porcelain, and connect via titanium cylinders. To discuss which version fits a case, request pricing or send a case.
