What is the lab turnaround for IPS e.max® Layered, how do I submit a case, and which ADA codes apply?

Lab turnaround

IPS e.max Layered is a 7-day in-lab product, and that figure does not include shipping, meaningfully longer than ROE's monolithic options (3–5 days for zRc, TLZ, and e.max Monolithic). This is the practical cost of hand layering, so build it into scheduling. ROE's Case Delivery Calculator accounts for lab time and transit so you can give the patient an accurate return date.

Submitting a digital case

  • Log in (or create an account) at ROE's online portal, choose New Case, complete the form, and drag and drop files under "Documents."
  • Zip large files or CBCT scans (.DCM) before uploading.
  • ROE accepts IOS files from all major scanner brands; to send directly, search "ROE Dental Lab" in your IOS portal (exact steps vary by manufacturer).

Submitting a physical case

  • Print and complete the relevant Rx and include it with the case.
  • Use ROE's free UPS shipping (roedentallab.com/UPS). ROE also supplies boxes and materials free on request, typically shipped within 48–72 hours.

Support

Every client is assigned a dedicated technical support team for shade, design, and case-planning questions: (216) 663-2233 or info@roedentallab.com.

ADA (CDT) codes

The correct code depends on the specific scenario (single crown, bridge unit, abutment- or implant-supported, veneer, inlay/onlay). Coding and reimbursement are the submitting practice's responsibility; this is a reference list, not a guarantee of coverage.
