What is the difference between preshaded and multilayered EZneer, and how do I choose?

EZneer is available in two shading approaches. The choice is driven primarily by available thickness and how much substrate color you need to control.

How to decide

  1. Measure your available space first. If the case demands a true no-prep or ultra-conservative result and the substrate is reasonably light, preshaded at 0.3 to 0.5 mm is the right call.
  2. Assess substrate value and chroma. The darker or more uneven the underlying tooth, the more you benefit from multilayered shading and its greater thickness.
  3. Consider the esthetic zone. Multilayered options produce a natural gradient and reduce the need for manual staining, which helps in high-visibility central and lateral cases.

Important: ultra-thin veneers reduce, but do not eliminate, the influence of the underlying tooth. Very dark or severely discolored preps benefit from the thicker multilayered range and from discussing the case with ROE before final preparation.
