What is the clinical workflow for a Snap-On Smile case?

Snap-On Smile is designed as a streamlined, two-visit workflow. The procedure is completely painless and typically requires no shots, no drilling, and no removal of natural tooth structure. The general process is: capture records, then seat.

Step Visit Description
1. Smile design consultation Visit 1 Discuss the patient's esthetic goals and confirm Snap-On Smile is appropriate for the case
2. Capture records Visit 1 Take a PVS or IOS impression of the arch, along with the bite and the opposing arch. Patient photographs are optional but recommended for esthetic matching
3. Submit to ROE Between visits Send records and complete the Rx. Digital scans may be submitted through the IOS portal or by exporting .STL files; physical impressions are shipped to ROE
4. Fabrication At ROE ROE fabricates the custom Snap-On Smile appliance
5. Seat and adjust Visit 2 Deliver the appliance, confirm fit, and adjust as necessary

The required records for fabrication are a PVS or IOS impression, the bite, and the opposing arch, with patient photographs as an optional addition. Because Snap-On Smile is tooth-borne and custom-fit, seating adjustments should be none to minimal.

To submit a case, use ROE's online portal through Create or Login to your ROE Account, or send physical records following ROE's standard shipping protocol. For free shipping supplies and UPS labels, visit UPS Label and Case Pick-Up.
