What is the CLEARsplint™ and what is it used for?

The CLEARsplint™ is a custom occlusal nightguard built from a modified composite material and fabricated to your prescribed bite plane. It carries the tagline "Heat & Seat," which refers to its self-adjusting behavior when placed in warm water. The appliance has over two decades of proven clinical performance in bruxism management.

It is designed primarily for the management of bruxism, the involuntary grinding and clenching of teeth that can wear enamel, fatigue the muscles of mastication, and stress restorations. Because the material is offered in a stronger modified composite formulation, it is well suited to severe bruxism cases that demand durability, and because it is optically clear and virtually unnoticeable when worn, it is also appropriate for patients who need discrete daytime wear.
