What is an IMPACT Digital Denture and how is it different from a traditional denture?

The IMPACT Digital Denture is ROE's 3D-printed full denture, built using CAD/CAM technology rather than the manual setup and processing used for traditional dentures. Digital design and computer-controlled manufacturing replace several hand steps, which improves fit accuracy and reproducibility while reducing the number of variables introduced during traditional fabrication.

Because the case is designed and stored digitally, the patient's denture record is kept on file. If a replacement is ever needed, the stored design can be reused to produce an exact duplicate without starting the records over. The product is positioned by ROE as the optimal solution for both immediate dentures and long-term economy cases, and it is backed by ROE's experience producing nearly 100,000 digital dentures over the past five years.

A few practical contrasts with traditional dentures:

Topic IMPACT Digital Denture Traditional Denture
Fabrication CAD/CAM design with 3D-printed components Manual setup, waxing, and processing
Estimated patient visits 2 5 with reset (per ROE's Removable Solutions guide)
Reorder/replacement Digital record reused, no new impressions required New records typically required
Setup appointment Can be eliminated Wax try-in and reset are standard steps
Adjustment safety net Reverse Reset service Conventional remake

It is worth noting that traditional dentures can still be used as a record for duplicates, but per ROE's guidance the returned duplicate denture is fabricated digitally.
