What if the patient is leaving town for an extended time?

If your patient will be unavailable for an extended period, for example, leaving town for several months, it may make sense to cancel the case rather than proceed with fabrication. Please call our laboratory and explain the situation, such as "The patient is leaving this weekend and won't be back for nine months."

There is no benefit to completing a case when the patient will not be available for delivery and any necessary adjustments. Cancelling the case before fabrication begins means no charges will be applied, and you can restart the case when the patient returns and is ready to proceed with treatment.
