What if the patient fractured another tooth and the bridge needs to be extended?

If a patient experiences an additional fracture after a bridge case has been submitted, please call our laboratory immediately with the case number and request that we halt the bridge production. Stopping fabrication promptly helps prevent wasted work on an incomplete case design.

For example, if you call and say, "Patient just walked in with a fractured tooth #24," we will place the case on hold until the patient has the extraction and new preparation completed. Once the new scans reflecting the extended bridge design are sent to the laboratory, production can resume with the updated specifications.

Please be aware that, depending on how much of the original case was already completed before the hold was placed, there may be additional charges to accommodate the design change.
