What if the patient changed from an Essex retainer to a partial after submission?

Treatment plan changes happen, and we are happy to accommodate them whenever possible. If a case was submitted for an Essex retainer but the patient now requires a partial instead, please call our laboratory immediately to place the case on hold.

Once the hold is in place, send a new prescription (RX) specifying the type of partial needed, such as a Valplast partial. Our team will cancel the original Essex order and switch production to the new partial. If fabrication on the Essex had not yet begun, no charges will apply for the original order.

After the change has been processed, call back to confirm the new return date for the partial. We understand that patient needs can evolve, and we strive to make these transitions as smooth as possible.
