What if the lab asks "wax try-in or straight to finish"?
When our laboratory contacts you to ask whether you prefer a wax try-in or to proceed straight to finish, we are seeking clarification on your preferred production method for the case.
Choosing a wax try-in allows you to evaluate the fit, aesthetics, and occlusion before the final restoration is completed. This stage provides an opportunity to make adjustments and ensure patient satisfaction before the case is finalized.
Proceeding straight to finish bypasses the try-in stage and moves directly to completing the final restoration, which can save time when you are confident in the case setup.
Please confirm your preference when we reach out, and our team will update the case notes accordingly so production can continue based on your instructions.
