What if a new doctor is taking over a case from a previous doctor?
When a case needs to be transferred from one doctor to another, such as when a patient changes providers or a practice undergoes staffing changes, please call our laboratory with the patient's name and chart number. We will work to locate the original case in our system and transfer it to the new doctor's account.
If needed, we may ask you to verify which scanner system was used to submit the original case. Our team can search across multiple scanner platforms, including Trios, iTero, and others, to find the original submission. Once located, the case will be reassigned to the new doctor's account, ensuring continuity of care for the patient.
