What if a digital scan was sent but a physical case is also needed?
If you submitted a digital scan but the physical case or appliance is also required—for example, if the patient did not bring their lower partial to the original scan appointment—please call our laboratory after sending the digital scan to let us know the physical component is on its way.
Our team will note that we are waiting for the physical component before proceeding with the case. This is common when scans are taken before the patient has their existing appliance available for reference or modification.
To ensure both elements are properly linked, include a note on the digital scan submission indicating that physical materials are also coming, and include a note with the physical case stating that a scan was also submitted. Our laboratory will wait for both before beginning production.
