What does the GuidedSMILE Lite workflow and surgery involve?

GuidedSMILE Lite follows the same prosthesis-down, guided approach as the CHROME GuidedSMILE family, executed with plastic guides. The system is built to carry the case from planning through provisional delivery and on to the final restoration.

The Lite system's stated capabilities map to the major phases of a guided full-arch case:

Planning A prosthesis-driven digital plan is created from the patient records
Bite verification Anchored bite verification confirms position before drilling
Bone reduction Guided bone reduction establishes the planned restorative space
Implant drilling Precise, anchored-site drilling guides implant placement
Provisional Accurate provisional restoration placement on the day of surgery

After surgery, the system supports a comprehensive transfer of surgical and restorative data so the case can proceed to the final restoration. The RAPID Appliance and iJIG support that restorative hand-off, and a Printed Try-In can be used to verify the final prototype before completion.
