What are the three parts of the GuidedSMILE Digital system, and what does each one do?

GuidedSMILE Digital integrates three parts. Understanding each clarifies how the surgical and digital phases connect.

1. GuidedSMILE CombiGuide The CombiGuide is a full-arch, all-metal stackable surgical system that combines guided bone reduction with precise implant placement in one streamlined process. It is fixated to bone after tissue reflection, which eliminates guesswork when reducing bone to the planned level. The stackable components manage vertical space, control implant angulation, and preserve the intended prosthetic outcome.

The CombiGuide stack includes:

2. Scanguide (Fully Integrated Fiducial System) The Scanguide is a pre-designed, scannable masking platform that works alongside the CombiGuide. It functions as a three-dimensional, multi-geometric fiducial that protrudes scan bodies or flags through its surface while masking the bloody, moving surgical field beneath it. This replaces randomly placed fiducial markers with a pre-planned, consistent reference.

3. One-Hour Design Service Once records and scans are captured, they are uploaded to ROE's design team. The team designs a prosthesis that matches the surgical plan and implant placement, then returns an STL file, typically in 30 minutes or less when using this technique. The clinician then prints, cures, and polishes the prosthesis in-house.
