What are the preparation and cementation requirements for TLZ Zirconia with MiYO?

Follow these guidelines for a well-fitting, durable TLZ restoration.

Preparation:

Preparation parameter Requirement
Marginal reduction Minimum 0.8 mm
Occlusal clearance Minimum 1.5 mm

Seating and cementation:

  • Clean the inside of the crown with a cleaning solution before placement.
  • Cement with a resin modified glass ionomer.
  • Non-retentive or limited-clearance preparations may require bonding.

As with any crown, control cement volume carefully and remove all excess to protect the margins and surrounding tissue.
