What are ROE's Traditional Dentures and who are they best suited for?

ROE's Traditional Dentures are full (complete) dentures fabricated using time-tested materials and techniques, then hand-finished by skilled dental technicians who add individual artistic interpretation and personalized characterizations to each case.

Where ROE's digital dentures (Ivotion and IMPACT) prioritize speed, repeatability, and fewer appointments, the traditional line is built around craftsmanship, customization, and maximum flexibility during fabrication — making it ROE's recommendation when your focus is high strength and exceptional esthetics.

A central advantage of the traditional approach is that the case is not locked in until the patient has previewed it. Mid-process adjustments are possible based on try-in evaluations and direct patient feedback, which is especially valuable for difficult anatomical situations or cosmetically demanding patients. Each denture can also receive unique surface textures, custom staining, and individualized features that are difficult to replicate at scale.

Within ROE's broader full-denture collection, the company frames the decision this way: if your priority is the latest technology, fewer visits, and a reusable digital record, the digital dentures are the path; if your priority is the highest level of esthetic customization and hand-detailing, traditional dentures are the answer.

  • Single and double arch (full) dentures
  • Patients with high esthetic demand
  • Implant conversions
  • Cases that benefit from chairside or in-lab relines
  • Duplicates and immediates — with one important caveat (see note below)
  • Complex cases requiring specialized techniques and mid-course flexibility

Important note on duplicates: A traditional denture can be used as a record for a duplicate, but the returned duplicate denture will be fabricated digitally by ROE. This is a workflow detail worth communicating to patients who expect a like-for-like remake.
