What is included in the treatment package and support, and what is the clinician responsible for?

Every CLEARaline order is a complete patient package. It includes the aligners in clearly marked baggies so patients wear them in the correct order, a Patient Guide explaining proper use and care, and a Care Kit with tools to remove and store the aligners safely. On the doctor side, treatment includes a set of design and review tools:

Included with treatment Detail
Free redesigns During treatment planning.
One free refinement Post fabrication, design only.
Online doctor approval Easy case acceptance.
3D Ortho viewer Review the planned movements in 3D.
Smile summary report Includes movement details.
CLEARaline Preview 2D-to-3D or 3D-to-3D animation of the patient's treated smile (additional fee).

The CLEARaline Preview is a useful case-acceptance tool: provide ROE with patient photos or .STL files and receive a 3D animation of the patient's smile with CLEARaline treatment.

Clinician responsibility: CLEARaline is a lab-fabricated aligner, and the treating practitioner is solely responsible for the clinical decision to treat and for all clinical outcomes. ROE cannot assess the individual clinical situation or influence patient behavior, so diagnosis, informed consent, treatment selection, and retention planning rest with the practitioner.

Two financial points to note: a design fee is charged once a case is submitted, and the practitioner is responsible for it even if the patient does not proceed or treatment is canceled; and once aligners are ordered, the practitioner is responsible for any fees incurred. The practitioner must also supply adequate records, and ROE may request improved records before proceeding. Full terms are in ROE's Terms and Conditions and Warranty Statement.
