Removable Solutions Workflow: Partial with Metal Framework

The following workflow outlines the steps clinicians should follow when treating a partially edentulous patient with a metal framework partial denture

Overview

Metal framework partial dentures provide excellent stability in the mouth through their strong, lightweight design that clips securely to your natural teeth. Metal is hygienic, resistant to discoloration, and easier to keep clean vs other materials. The durable metal framework helps distribute biting forces evenly, ensures a comfortable fit, and can be adjusted or added to if needed in the future.

Optionally, the doctor may chose try-in appointments; trying in the metal framework and/or the wax try-in. A wax try-in is recommended for partials in the anterior or partials with 4+ teeth.
