How strong is IPS e.max Monolithic?

ROE lists IPS e.max Monolithic at 530 MPa flexural strength. The monolithic design is a meaningful strength advantage: in layered restorations, the stacked outer porcelain is the structural weak link and is prone to chipping and delamination under function. By eliminating that outer porcelain layer, monolithic construction removes that failure point and provides consistent strength throughout the restoration.

This is why ROE highlights that the monolithic build "eliminates porcelain failure" and supports reliable, long-term durability for both anterior and applicable load-bearing cases.
