What is the process and timeline, and what records does ROE need to start a CLEARaline case?
ROE keeps the design process streamlined: you receive a treatment plan in just 4 days, and after you approve it, aligners are ready to ship in 8 days. The case flows through six steps:
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Records | The doctor takes an IOS or PVS impression with a master cast. |
| 2. Case acceptance | The doctor submits the case to ROE. |
| 3. Design | ROE designs the case and creates the treatment plan. |
| 4. Approval | The doctor approves the treatment plan online. |
| 5. Manufacturing | The CLEARaline aligners are manufactured. |
| 6. Delivery | The CLEARaline package is delivered to the doctor. |
Records options: ROE supports both a model-free digital workflow (from an IOS impression) and a traditional workflow with a model (from a PVS impression). For the digital route, complete the CLEARaline Rx, log in to your ROE account, and upload your digital impressions, Rx, and photographs. For the traditional route, complete and print the Rx, then package your master casts, Rx, and photographs (or email photos to photos@roedentallab.com) and ship to ROE.
Eight clinical photographs are required to start a case:
| # | Photograph |
|---|---|
| 1 | Full face profile, lips at rest |
| 2 | Full face front, lips at rest |
| 3 | Full face front, full smile |
| 4 | Maxillary occlusal |
| 5 | Mandibular occlusal |
| 6 | Center retracted in occlusion |
| 7 | Left retracted in occlusion |
| 8 | Right retracted in occlusion |
You can Submit a Case Online and plan delivery with the Case Delivery Calculator.
