How do I hold a case until the patient comes in for a shade?

If you need to delay production on a case until the patient can come in for a shade appointment, simply call our laboratory to place the case on hold for shade. Let us know when the patient is scheduled to visit your office, for example, "The patient is coming in Monday for a shade."

After the patient's appointment, call us back with the shade information, such as "A2.5 VITA shade." Once we receive the shade, we will release the hold and proceed with production using the confirmed shade.

This process ensures that the restoration is fabricated with the accurate shade from your in-person assessment, rather than relying on estimates or previously recorded shades that may no longer be accurate.
