How do I adjust the CLEARguard AdaptivFIT?

The CLEARguard AdaptivFIT is thermo-adaptive and allows you to heat the appliance to adjust both the fit and retention as well as the occlusion.

    1. Heat water to approximately 160°F (71°C). Use a thermometer to confirm.
    2. Place the splint in the water for (30–60 seconds, per IFU), or until soft and pliable.
    3. Remove and allow the splint to cool to a comfortable temperature, per IFU.
    4. Seat intraorally and have the patient bite gently. Adapt within about one minute,                            removing and reseating as needed.  
    5. Cool in cold water to set the adapted shape.
    6. Reseat and check fit, retention and occlusion. Complete any final adjustments.

Need more adaptation? Reheat and repeat.

 ⚠ Do not microwave the appliance.
