Do I need an intraoral scanner or any digital equipment to order an IMPACT Denture?

No. A central principle of ROE's removable program is "We are digital so you don't have to be." You can access the benefits of a digital denture without changing your chairside procedures or investing in new equipment.

You can submit traditional impressions, bite records, and try-ins captured with your current techniques, and ROE will digitize everything and handle the technological steps in the lab. If you do work digitally, ROE accepts intraoral scanner files from all major brands.

Your capture method What you send How ROE handles it
Analog Physical impressions, bite records, models, printed Rx ROE digitizes the records for the digital workflow
Digital (IOS) IOS scans through the IOS portal, or exported STLs uploaded to the ROE portal Files flow directly into ROE's digital workflow

The exact IOS submission protocol varies by scanner manufacturer. For setup help, contact ROE at (800) 228-6663 or info@roedentallab.com, and to connect a scanner search for ROE Dental Lab in your scanner's portal.

To make the true two-appointment workflow even simpler, ROE offers the ROE Fit Tray, which combines the primary impression, custom tray, and bite block into a single stock tray. It is available in three sizes and is designed to replace more than two hours of in-office lab work with a single 30 to 45 minute appointment. Appointment one is the Fit Tray, and appointment two is the final denture.
