Can I do the overdenture conversion chairside instead of sending it to the lab?

Yes. The conversion can be done chairside: you place the abutment through the attachments, pick up the housings in the denture, and send the patient on their way the same day.

The trade-off is time. Many doctors do not have time for the chairside pickup, which is where ROE steps in. By sending an impression to the lab (implant-level or abutment-level, depending on what is already seated), the doctor offloads the attachment selection, processing, and set-up to ROE and follows the lab-assisted pathway through to the final prosthesis.
