Can a patient drop off a flipper for tooth addition and pick up?

Yes, patients can drop off a flipper at our laboratory for tooth addition and return to pick it up once the work is completed. For adding a tooth to an acrylic appliance without metal components, the turnaround time is one day in the lab. This means if a patient drops off the flipper on Tuesday, it would be ready for pickup on Wednesday.

When submitting the prescription, please write "patient will pick up" along with the expected pickup day, for example, "patient will pick up Wednesday." If the patient has a specific time frame for pickup, include that information as well so we can ensure the work is completed accordingly.

In some cases, same-day completion may be possible depending on our production schedule and the complexity of the addition. Please call ahead to discuss same-day options if your patient requires expedited service.
