Overdenture Workflow: How to Capture Extraoral Scans with ScanAnalogs

The following workflow details the steps necessary for clinicians to interact with ROE in order to capture extraoral scans with scananalogs.

Remove the existing retention inserts from the prosthesis and replace with black processing inserts.

Place a ScanAnalog into each LOCATOR site and ensure full seat.

Note: Ensure that the shiny side of the two-sided analog is inserted into the denture.

3. Place a white LOCATOR Processing Spacer into each ArchBridge for Overdenture Scan Body, ensuring it is fully seated and flush with the base of the scan body. 3

Seat one scan body onto each ScanAnalog. Rotate towards the center of the denture, facing inwards, for ease of scanability.
Important: Make sure the scan bodies are not touching each other and are fully seated.

5.

Capture a 360° extraoral scan of the scan bodies with the IOS.


Important: Be sure to clearly capture the complete round head of the scan body where it is attached to the abutment.
