Hey, it’s Chris with ROE Dental Laboratory and I’m here today to talk to you about a very new and exciting service we’re offering with some some pretty cool technology that’s been around for a long time, but we’re putting a new spin on it. It’s called Grammetry, from ROE Dental Laboratory. A quick little vocab lesson for you.
What does Grammetry even mean? If you really break it down, it means recorded measurement. Grammetry gives you the ability for an immediate load prosthesis to be printed in your office post surgery that goes direct to multi-unit abutments using just scan bodies. We use a device called theOptiSplint, and they are special little scan bodies that go directly to your multi-unit abutment and they’re connected by a metal mesh. Once those are all connected in the mouth, you’ll do your standard photogrammetry or Grammetry scans, and then send those over to the lab. We have some nice digital design services with different turnaround times as well. There’s a few different options on your end for what you would like to do.
If you have a printer, we have a two hour turnaround time where you can have ROE design the files and we’ll send them to you, you print them in the office, and the patient’s off and running with some beautiful teeth. Maybe you don’t have a 3D printer in your office yet, that’s okay. We can help you on that end as well. You send us to files, and we can do a quick turnaround time of a printed try-in for the patient.
There’s also offices that are beyond the 3D printer where they have a 3D printer, they have their intraoral scanner, and they have a zirconia mill as well. We can do all the designs for your printed try-ins and your zirconia. So whatever your solution is, we have it covered. You can be a do-it-yourself and we will get you all the designs, or just day of surgery with your intraoral scanner and send those to us and we’re going to get you a nice prosthetic for immediate load and then help you transition into the final with this Grammetry solution. All you need is our OptiSplint and an intraoral scanner.
That’s it, it’s very simple. Any questions please give us a shout and leave them in the comments section below. Be sure to check us out on our website where we have a whole page on Grammetry and a ton of additional videos and details on how to get started with ROE and Grammetry. And then also please subscribe to our YouTube channel for additional videos on this and everything else in the dental world. Thank you.
