Overview

The journey for the patient undergoing full arch implant treatment can bring great rewards but can also be extremely intimidating. Now more than ever, we need to hone and modify our skills to help guide our patients to make the correct choice for themselves. Understanding the full scope of what is possible and harnessing newer technologies for our patient is vital as we restore their function and bring them back to more healthy function and unlock the potential of their lives.

As practitioners it is our responsibility to understand all options available and deliver the treatment that the patient needs and selects. This program will cover all aspects of full arch treatment including patient acquisition, communication techniques leading to case acceptance, and clinical steps for fixed and removable immediate load protocols. Whether you are new to full arch treatment or already treating full arch cases in your practice, this course is designed to help you implement business strategies to increasing the number of these cases you treat in the practice.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Kanyon Keeney

Kanyon R. Keeney, D.D.S. received his D.D.S. and graduated with honors at the Medical College of Virginia in 1984. While at MCV service he served as President of his Class every year and Student Body President in his senior year. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, as well as received the Theodore Glenn Scholarship, Alpha Omega Scholarship Award, and the ASDA Certificate of Service. He was also awarded a legislative externship in Washington by the ADA in his junior year. Dr. Keeney obtained an early externship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at The Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center in Miami.

Dr. Keeney completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1987 where he served as Chief Resident. As a resident, he coauthored several articles in surgery and was the first resident at the University of Pennsylvania to place dental implants.

Today, Dr. Keeney is a partner in Drs. Niamtu, Alexander, Keeney, Harris, Metzger & Dymon, P.C. He maintains a practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in implant surgery. He has placed several thousand implants in the past twenty years and has attended several hundred hours of additional training and updates in the latest technology in dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow in the American Association of Oral Surgeons and American Society of Dental Anesthesia and became the first active Board Certified Oral Surgeon in Virginia to become a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

More than 19 years of experience in Dentistry including 10 years experience as a general Dentist. Assistant professor University of Pittsburgh. Owner of Pittsburgh dental implants and Periodontics a fee for service practice in Pittsburgh suburb. Director of Pittsburgh institute of Dentistry (Pitt.I.D) educational institute running Seattle Study club, ITI study club and hygiene study club. Lectures nationally and internationally on subjects of ceramic implants, pro arch dental implants, digital dentistry, soft tissue grafting and dental marketing and patient management
