occlusal splints
At ROE we offer numerous TMJ, Bruxism, and Orthotic appliances using a variety of materials and occlusal designs. Many of our clients have specific preferences for the fabrication of the appliance. However, if no specific instructions are provided bruxism splints will be flat planed with point cusp contact and 3mm of labial coverage. TMJ appliances are fabricated with posterior cusp contact, 3mm of labial coverage and cuspid disclusion.

We fabricate appliances with four different materials (refer to the comparison chart below). More than half of the splints we produce include our “adjustment free” Thermaflex thermoplastic lining. A splint which includes Thermaflex is the most advanced interocclusal appliance available. A Thermaflex splint consists of a hard methyl-methacrylate occlusal surface and a patented, elastomeric acrylic in all other areas. Thermaflex thermoplastic significantly improves the comfort, accuracy and retention of splints, nightguards and TMJ appliances.

Seat splints quickly without adjustments with Thermoflex soft elastomeric lining, available on all splint applicances.

From bruxism splints to anatomical neuromuscular orthotics, our highly trained and experience technicians have created a reputation of fabricating exceptional orthotic appliances for all situations.
All splints and orthotics are fabricated on duplicate models for pre-fit verification, minimizing chairside adjustment. Master models are returned with the finished case.
