ROE’s BluePrint Diagnostic wax-up service offers more than conventional wax-ups. Each of the 3 levels provides increased operative and patient presentation tools necessary to create both functional and esthetic reconstruction cases with confidence.

Level One - Communication
$12 per unit

• Diagnostic Wax-up

We help create a patients’ new smile following all principles of smile design, function and outline form. From a study model, we adjust the cast with white wax to communicate the anticipated final restoration.

• Temporization Stent

A polyvinyl impression of the wax-up is provided to be used chairside for provisional restorations.

• Tooth Preparation Matrixes

These guides help ensure preparation is sufficiently reduced to allow us to duplicate the diagnostic wax-up in the final restorations.

• Laboratory Treatment Plan

Taking into account such factors as preparation design, gingival morphology, material selection, orthodontic and endodontic considerations we provide a written evaluation and recommendation for the case.

Level Two - Communication, Patient Presentation
$22 per unit (includes level 1 plus)

• Full Colored Wax-Up

In addition to helping design a patients’ new smile, a multicolored wax-up simulates translucency and cervical characterization for optimal presentation to the patient.

• Duplicate Master & Opposing Model

Master models are preserved allowing the patient to compare the before model with the proposed smile.

• Pink Stained Gingiva

The gingival area of the model is stained pink for a more realistic presentation.

• Glazed Mounted Casts

To further improve presentation, a uniform glaze is applied to the mounted casts.

• Articulation of Choice

The case will be returned with articulation rings compatible to the instrument of your choice, or on a clean metal articulator.

Level Three - Communication, Patient Presentation, Preparation
$32 per unit (includes levels 1 and 2 plus)

• Preparation Model

A third model is returned with the suggested tooth preparation required to achieve natural esthetics.

• Preparation Stent

A hard, clear acrylic stent is created over the lab prepared model that can be used interorally to assist in verifying adequate reduction.
